The Indiana Institute for Behavior Analysis (TIIBA) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide individualized ABA services to young children in community-based PreK and early learning settings.

The RBT will support an assigned client during classroom routines, play, transitions, learning activities, and social interactions. Under BCBA supervision, the RBT will implement treatment protocols, collect data, support skill development, and collaborate with families, clinical staff, and classroom teams.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one ABA services in a PreK or early learning classroom.
  • Implement treatment and behavior-support protocols under BCBA supervision.
  • Support communication, social, play, self-help, independence, and school-readiness skills.
  • Collect accurate data and complete required documentation.
  • Use evidence-based strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Support participation in classroom routines and respond safely to challenging behavior.
  • Collaborate professionally with families, teachers, and clinical team members.
  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
  • Follow TIIBA policies, BACB requirements, and applicable regulations.

Work Environment
Services are provided in active PreK and early learning classrooms during activities such as group instruction, play, meals, self-care routines, and transitions. The RBT works as part of the client’s clinical team and provides support focused on the client’s treatment goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current RBT credential in good standing
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Ability to pass background checks and all required screenings
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Willingness to accept supervision and feedback
  • Commitment to compassionate, client-centered care
  • Experience with young children, ABA, autism, or classroom settings preferred

Physical Requirements

Must be able to move throughout an active classroom, sit or play on the floor, transition between positions, and safely assist clients as permitted by policy and the treatment plan.

Schedule

Primarily daytime hours during PreK programming. Schedules may vary based on client needs, program hours, and staff availability.
